Hee-Jeong Kim
 
Hee-Jeong Kim received a BA from Ewha Woman's University and MA from Chung'ang University in Gayageum performance. Currently she is pursuing a Doctoral degree at Ewha Woman's University. She is a member of the National Orchestra of Korea and is a faculty at Ewha Women's University where she teaches Gayageum Chamber music.

She has given Gayageum solo recitals many times and performed Gayageum concertos with the National Orchestra of Korea several times. She has her own CDs released with 25-string Gayageum, including a live performance in the Grand Festival for the 25-string Gayaguem presented by the KBS FM. She also participated numerous charity concerts such as "For the Comfort Women," for Children and Adults under the title of "A Talking Gayageum," and an event of "Even Aliens Know Gayageum" presented by New Current Artists Award at the Arts Council Korea.

Her repertoire includes Sonamu (pine tree) Concerto for Koto (Japanese zither) composed by Mikiminoru for performance on Gayageum, Variations for the Brier Rose composed by Kim Hoigyeong, and Eoyuwa for String Quartet and the 25 string Gayageum composed by Ryu Geonju.
