| Natalya Lundtvedt Artist's Website >> Natalya (Duvanenko) Lundtvedt is a native of Minsk, Belarus. She began her piano studies at age 6. In Minsk she studied at Glinka State Music Vocational College and Belarus State Academy of Music, graduating with honors. In 2001, she was awarded a full scholarship at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where she studied under Professor Mack McCray and earned a Master in Musical Arts degree. In March 2005, she was accepted to the University of California, Los Angeles for her Doctor of Musical Arts degree and is studying under Professor Vitalii Margulis. She was awarded honors at the Belarus Liszt National Competition, Minsk, Belarus in 1994, a performance broadcast on national radio. In 1997, she became a laureate at Milosh Magin International Piano competition in Paris, France, and in 2004 she was awarded First Prize in the Young Artist Award competition in California. During her school years in Minsk, she performed as a soloist at the Belarus Philharmonic Society and appeared with the Belarus Symphony. She had performances in the International Piano Festival at Mannes College of Music in New York, at Rowan University in New Jersey and at the Northern Lights Music Festival in Minnesota. In the San Francisco area she has performed at Le Petite Trianon Theatre in San Jose, in Noontime concerts series in San Francisco, in Evensong concert series in Los Gatos, and at the Palo Alto Center of Performing Arts. She has also performed as a soloist in several venues with the Russian Chamber Orchestra. In June 2005, she made a successful debut in the prestigious Old First Concerts series in San Francisco. She is a frequently invited guest to perform in the Noontime, Evensong, and Old First Concerts series.
