Dean Reilly A list of Dean Reilly’s musical associations would fill many pages. A few of them would include Georgie Auld, Vince Guaraldi, George Barnes, Teddy Wilson, Earl Hines, Irene Kral and Cal Tjader. He grew up in the state of Washington where his father led his own dance band. Dean tried several instruments, but settled on bass after seeing and hearing Jimmy Blanton with Duke Ellington.
