| Carmen Lemoine Described as "one of the most exciting of the new, young players," Carmen Lemoine currently plays Second Flute with the Santa Cruz Symphony. She also works as the Assistant Orchestra Manager at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she earned her Master of Music degree while studying under Tim Day. Before moving to the Bay Area, Ms. Lemoine graduated magna cum laude from the University of Rochester's Eastman School of Music with her Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance as well as with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics. Her past instructors include soloist Bonita Boyd and Martha Aarons. In April Carmen made her professional debut playing Mozart's Flute Concerto No. 1 with the Modesto Symphony Orchestra as the winner of their first Young Artist Competition. More recently, she joined the Spoleto Festival Orchestra for a second season in Charleston, South Carolina. Her orchestral talent has also taken her to Carnegie Hall, Miami, and Aspen with such ensembles as the New York String Orchestra and the New World Symphony.
