Sven Olbash pays tribute to Daniel Pinkham by performing the late composer’s songs alongside those of his teachers and colleagues. Hailing from Pinkham’s native Lynn, Massachusetts, Olbash championed his works as both singer and organist before having the opportunity to study with the maestro at New England Conservatory. The program features the first known West Coast performance of Ned Rorem’s Another Sleep (original 1951 version).
