This December, Voci will present Voices in Peace VII: Winter Stillness, celebrating the quiet beauty of the season. The concert features Vincent Persichetti's spare and stunning Winter Cantata for Women's Voices, Flute and Marimba, based on Japanese Haiku, along with works by Debussy, Elgar, Barber, Nelson, Szymko, Weir and others. Voci will be accompanied on marimba throughout the program by well-known Bay Area percussionist William Winant.
