Flautist Laura Vincent is a dynamic and energetic performer, celebrated in her native New England and in venues from Leipzig, Germany to Portland, Oregon for her innovative programming and expressive playing. A passionate advocate of contemporary composers, whose works she routinely premieres, she is joined in this afternoon recital by Julliard alumnus Miles Graber, one of the Bay Area's most highly regarded collaborative pianists, for an eclectic and engaging program that includes several rags, a tango, a bossa nova, and the West Coast premieres of works by Daniel Paget and Jose Elizondo.
