Kodály Meditation on a motive by Debussy

Daniel Glover has been hailed as "an incisive, exciting, and apparently tireless player…a natural for hyper-virtuosic challenge." (San Jose Mercury News). His program will focus on Hungarian and Russian composers of the 19th and 20th Centuries, featuring three works by Franz Liszt in commemoration of the 200th Anniversary of the great pianist and composer's birthday. Additionally, Mr. Glover will play Tchaikovsky's Grande Piano Sonata in G, Bartók's Suite, and Kodály's little known Meditation on a motive by Debussy. Two Transcendental Etudes by the lesser known Russian composer Sergei Liapunov written in the style of Liszt will complete this exciting program.
