If you haven't yet done so, O1C invites you to discover the charms of the gayageum, a traditional, 12-stringed Korean instrument whose origins trace to the first century BC, and whose soft, delicate and subtle tone has been associated with Korean court and chamber music. Two virtuosos of this timeless, zitherlike instrument join the members of the ever innovative and dynamic new-music force, Ensemble Parallèle, in a program that features several world and US premiere performances.
