An early music ensemble committed to providing their audiences the highest caliber artistry, Passamezzo Moderno combine historically authentic performances on period instruments with brief lectures to broaden the knowledge and appeal of early music. Their program for Old First Concerts explores the virtuoso music of early Baroque Venice as well as music by Venetian composers who came to dominate the Viennese musical establishment during the 17th century.
