Andante Favori and Sonata in E-slat, Op 81a, ‘Les adieux by Beethoven; selections from Études dexécution transcendente by Liszt; Etude-tableau in E-flat minor (Snow Storm), Op. 33, No. 6 by Rachmaninoff; Paisajes (Landscapes) by Mompou; La Vega (The Plain) by Albeniz; Sonata No. 1 by Ginastera Pianist Daniel Glover will present a varied program, including two well-known and beloved works by Beethoven. In an exploration of nature in all its fury and beauty, Mr. Glover includes a group of works by Liszt, Rachmaninoff and Mompou based on observations of the natural world, as well as Albeniz’ gorgeous and rarely heard La Vega (The Plain).
