Debussy Centennial Festival, program 4

Featuring Jeffrey LaDeur and Eunmi Ko, piano, and special guests Liana Bérubé, violin & Michelle Kwon, cello

Presented in conjunction with the San Francisco International Piano Festival

Widely regarded as the most important composer of the 20th century, Claude Debussy remains one of the most beloved composers in the classical music universe. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the composer’s death, Old First Concerts is presenting a 4-concert Centennial Festival in 2018, a rare opportunity to hear a great deal of his highly unique musical legacy composed in just 30 years. The program for this concert includes Etudes, Book I; En blanc et noir (for Two Pianos, Four hands!); Violin Sonata; Cello Sonata, and more!

The festival is sponsored by R. Kassman, Purveyor of Fine Pianos.

Old First Concerts has volunteer opportunities available!

Our concerts rely on the generosity of volunteers to assist with simple tasks like:

ushering

distributing programs

box office

set-up and clean-up

Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.

An excellent opportunity for students, seniors, or anyone who possesses a love for music!
