Il Novecento Italiano

Chant for Violin and Piano by Prosperi; Two Pieces for Violin and Piano and Sequenza VIII for Violin Solo by Berio; Sonata No. 2, Op. 36a for Violin and Piano by Busoni
In association with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura San Francisco, O1C is delighted to present two internationally distinguished Italian virtuosos who, between them, have performed in major concert venues in no less than twenty nations, and with philharmonic orchestras from Mexico City to Shanghai. Francesco d’Orazio and Giampaolo Nuti are also established recording artists, their collaboration on the complete works of Alfred Schnittke for violin and piano having been honored by CD Classics as a CD of the Month.

Old First Concerts has volunteer opportunities available!

Our concerts rely on the generosity of volunteers to assist with simple tasks like:

ushering

distributing programs

box office

set-up and clean-up

Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.

An excellent opportunity for students, seniors, or anyone who possesses a love for music!

If you’d like to consider volunteering with Old First Concerts, please contact curtishuth@oldfirstconcerts.org for more information.
