New Pacific Trio

The World Premiere of Wave by Cindy Cox; Trio, Op. 70 No. 2 by Beethoven; Piano Trio by Ives; Oblivion and La Muerte del Angel by PiazzollaThe New Pacific Trio, which has been praised for its “passion and dexterity”, in residence at the Conservatory of Music at the University of the Pacific, is quickly gaining recognition throughout the United States and abroad. For this program, the trio is including an innovative Beethoven trio, the iconoclastic and infrequently performed trio by Charles Ives and a world premiere by UC Berkeley composer Cindy Cox. Theres even some toe-tapping Piazzolla thrown into the mix!

Old First Concerts has volunteer opportunities available!

Our concerts rely on the generosity of volunteers to assist with simple tasks like:

ushering

distributing programs

box office

set-up and clean-up

Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.

An excellent opportunity for students, seniors, or anyone who possesses a love for music!
