One Art Ensemble

Hailed as “beautiful feminine giants of chamber music,” One Art Ensemble is quickly gaining recognition for its inspiring juxtaposition of instrumental music, art song, and works by living composers. Since officially forming in April 2009, One Art Ensemble has created innovative concert sets for Noe Valley Chamber Music, CMASH New American Chamber Music III, the Bing Concert Series at Stanford University Hospital, San Francisco’s Noontime Concerts, and San Francisco Conservatory. Their program will include works commissioned by the ensemble, including Drei Träume by Liam Wade and songs by Vartan Aghababian, along with works by Jake Heggie, Robert Schumann, John Duke, Felix Mendelssohn, and Paul Hindemith.

Old First Concerts has volunteer opportunities available!

Our concerts rely on the generosity of volunteers to assist with simple tasks like:

ushering

distributing programs

box office

set-up and clean-up

Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.

An excellent opportunity for students, seniors, or anyone who possesses a love for music!
