Quadri da una città fantasma

Quadri da una città fantasma for piano, slate board and three turntables; Variazioni su un oggetto di scena for piano and stuffed animals; and the World Premiere of Louganis for piano and video by Luciano ChessaItalian composer/pianist Luciano Chessa performs his Quadri da una città fantasma, a “mistero da camera” for piano, slate board and three turntables (Shane Anderson, turntablist), based on a visit to former mining town Virginia City, NV. Also on the program is the World Premiere of Louganis, a collaboration with media artist Terry Berlier. The concert is preceded by the action piece Lavoro, in progress as doors open. This event is presented in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in San Francisco.
