The San Francisco Girls Chorus School Level IV’s final concert of the year will feature a variety of repertoire as well as special guest artists on violin, guitar, and string bass. Repertoire includes composers such as Copland, Hatfield, Mácha, Mendelssohn, Orbán, Quartel, and Whitacre, and pieces in English, Latin, Polynesian, Czechoslovakian and more.

Prayers for a Feverish Planet draws from over 300+ discrete movements of music for piano and piano/electronics, on the themes of water, grief/anxiety, shadows and light, time, human “progress,” trees, hope, and more, sent to Ann DuHamel in response to a call for scores asking composers to share their works about climate change.

Our concerts rely on the generosity of volunteers to assist with simple tasks like:

ushering

distributing programs

box office

set-up and clean-up

Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.

An excellent opportunity for students, seniors, or anyone who possesses a love for music!
