Created in 2019 as a merger of Bay Area new music groups Wild Rumpus and Composers, Inc., Ninth Planet presents a program of fresh and varied new music from the Bay Area and beyond!

In this recital of preludes and transcriptions, pianist Anyssa Neumann explores a variety of contrapuntal traditions from the Baroque to the 21st century, including works by Bach, Wagner, Chopin, Pärt, Dallapiccola, and Cerrone.

A program of music exploring the darkest season of the year and the hope it stirs in us for the light to come, featuring music from contemporary American composers Eric Barnum and Carson Cooman alongside settings of traditional carols.
