Featuring two newly commissioned works by Bay Area composers, this program features pieces evoking moods both calm and stormy, with Italian volcanoes, Brazilian rainforests, Japanese seas, English forests, New York rain showers, French spring mornings, and California canyons.

The Bernal Hill Players is a gleefully eclectic chamber music ensemble formed in 2008 that performs classical and contemporary chamber music from around the world, as well as newly commissioned pieces by Californian and Mexican composers. They like music with strong local flavors, and their mission is to foster intercultural creative connections between composers, performers, and audiences.

Old First Concerts has volunteer opportunities available!

Our concerts rely on the generosity of volunteers to assist with simple tasks like:

ushering

distributing programs

box office

set-up and clean-up

Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.

An excellent opportunity for students, seniors, or anyone who possesses a love for music!
