Sarah Hong is well known in the Bay Area for her seemingly effortless performances of the most demanding repertoire; for this concert she is joined by violinist with the Oregon Symphony Fumino Ando and Japanese pianist Makiko Ooka. The program focuses on late works by French masters, including Ravels exquisite Piano Trio, Debussys abstract Sonata for ‘Cello and Piano, and the restrained lyricism of Chaussons Piece, Op. 39.
