I venture to say that his music is certain to make a lasting impression on the American musical scene. I know of no other composer of his generation who composes music of greater freshness and daring, or with more personality”. David Del Tredici teams up with pianist Marc Peloquin in a program of works by Del Tredici as well as Rachmaninoff and Bizet. Del Tredici and Peloquin have performed several programs together at such venues as Bargemusic, Barbes, The City College of New York, Look and Listen Festival, and Bennington College. Marc Peloquin is currently recording the complete piano works of Del Tredici for Naxos, volume one to be released in July of 2012.
