San Francisco's Home for Great Concerts since 1970

OOGOG & Jody Redhage

OOGOG is a quartet of composer/performers who combine their formal conservatory training with a love of improvisation to create music of intricate rhythms, off-kilter grooves, and strangely beautiful melodies. Opening up for them is ‘cellist, composer, and vocalist Jody Redhage, performing new music for her voice, ‘cello, and electronics, blurring the boundaries between art song, electronica, and the singer/songwriter tradition. Redhage will perform new compositions by talented emerging composers from across the country, including Ryan Brown, Paula Matthusen, Judd Greenstein, and herself.

Old First Concerts has volunteer opportunities available!

Our concerts rely on the generosity of volunteers to assist with simple tasks like:

ushering

distributing programs

box office

set-up and clean-up

Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.

An excellent opportunity for students, seniors, or anyone who possesses a love for music!
