Soprano Heidi Moss Erickson and pianist John Parr perform a multi-faceted program of Ravel, Fauré and Heidi’s trademark Strauss, culminating in soprano excerpts of Kurt Erickson’s Each Moment Radiant in its West Coast Première. A hybrid song cycle about the tragic 1988 bombing of Pan Am’s Flight 103, it is presented as part of LIEDER ALIVE!’s Neue Lieder program, helmed by Kurt Erickson since 2014, and celebrating his ten years as LIEDER ALIVE!’s Composer-in-Residence.
