Piedmont Choirs

With the thematic incantation, “Starlight—firelight—the twinkle of a loved one’s eye… a spark of warmth illuminates the darkness,” the Piedmont Choirs invite one and all to a “moment of hope and discovery” at the ensemble’s annual Candlelight Concert. The Choirs, composed of 350 young singers aged 5 to 18 who perform in twelve distinct choral groups, are prized for their dynamism, ensemble polish and vocal technique, and have a score of major awards from international competitions as testament thereto. Their Candlelight programs typically blend new music and traditional favorites.
