Ragazzi Boys Chorus – December 8, 2013

Ragazzi Boys Chorus, the renowned music education and choral arts performing organization, celebrates the holiday season with the jolly concert A Cheerful Noise. Take some time out of your busy holiday schedule to enjoy the vocal beauty and youthful energy of our upper-level trebles and changed-voice singers. Give yourself a chance to set aside the holiday frazzle and connect with holiday meaning. Classics of choral literature will be featured, including pieces by Mozart, Purcell and Handel. Patrons are invited to sing along with carols, and will be treated to the hushed intensity of Franz Biebls Ave Maria. Ragazzi will also present an exciting piece by Paul Halley that combines the ancient chant Ubi Caritas with African chants and drumming. A Cheerful Noise promises an eclectic mix of classical, holiday and other music with something for everyone.

Old First Concerts has volunteer opportunities available!

Our concerts rely on the generosity of volunteers to assist with simple tasks like:

Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.

An excellent opportunity for students, seniors, or anyone who possesses a love for music!
