Serene, piano – Sunday, March 31 at 4 pm

Serene, piano

Alexander Scriabin Sonata No. 4
György Ligeti Etude No. 13 – L’escalier du Diable
Franz Liszt Sonata in B minor
Maurice Ravel Gaspard de la nuit
Alexander Scriabin Sonata No. 5

A rising young pianist, Serene enjoys sharing the life-changing beauty and power of classical music with all audiences. Most recently, she performed Rachmaninoff with the Concerto Budapest Symphony Orchestra, conducted by András Keller, as well as locally in the Bay Area with the San Francisco Civic Symphony conducted by Jessica Bejarano. She has become known for her uncanny ability to engage listeners with her sensitivity, commanding graceful presence, and technical ease, Though Serene never attended conservatory, or perhaps because of it, she has “magically enthralled audiences” (John McCarthy) in a wide range of venues: from the Vienna Musikverein, to Golden Gate Park, to the inside of a decommissioned Boeing 747. She also performs on the internet, and you can also follow her piano adventures on Instagram: @serenepianist

Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.
