San Francisco's Home for Great Concerts since 1970

SOUNDS Like Fun!

Come and celebrate 42 years of diverse and extraordinary music with Old First Concerts. Mike Greensill will preside over the festivities and play with his usual panache wearing his signature red socks. Other musicians who couldnt resist the call to play something witty, sardonic, or surprising and off the beaten trail to celebrate with us include: Elinor Armer with Wendy Hillhouse and Caitlin Keen in a performance of her work Eine Kleine Snailmusik; Sarah Cahill and Vicky Ehrlich with movements from Lou Harrison’s Suite for ‘Cello and Piano; ZOFO with Terry Riley’s four-hand piano work Cinco de Mayo; Trio 180 with music by Frank Martin and Astor Piazzolla; Wesla Whitfield will grace us with a tune. Additional guests will join in with delightful music, including Larry Ferrara, Esther Landau, and Victor Romasevich, interrupted only for wine and chocolates.

Old First Concerts has volunteer opportunities available!

Our concerts rely on the generosity of volunteers to assist with simple tasks like:

ushering

distributing programs

box office

set-up and clean-up

Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.

An excellent opportunity for students, seniors, or anyone who possesses a love for music!
