San Francisco's Home for Great Concerts since 1970

Soyeon Lee

A Birthday Celebration for ChopinFor The Washington Post, it was her “stunning command of the keyboard,” and for The New York Times her “huge, richly varied sound, lively imagination and firm sense of style.” For numerous enthusiastic audiences and critics, her blend of passion, grace, and rapturous playing have been most memorable. By almost any measure, Soyeon Lee is marked for greatness, as her recitals at the Lincoln and Kennedy Centers and her showcasing in Symphony Magazine’s Emerging Artists issue attest to. One of today’s finest pianists pays tribute to one of history’s great keyboard composers.
