The Princeton Nassoons

Founded in 1941, the Nassoons are Princeton University’s oldest a cappella group and the fifth oldest in the United States. With a legacy spanning over 85 years, the group has built a world-renowned reputation through extensive domestic and international touring, with recent destinations including China, Japan, the United Kingdom, Puerto Rico, and Spain. The Nassoons perform regularly at Carnegie Hall, and have entertained distinguished audiences, including heads of state across three continents, multiple U.S. presidents, and musical legends such as Ella Fitzgerald, Gustavo Dudamel, and recent GRAMMY winner Laufey.

Rooted in the choral and jazz traditions of the early 20th century, the Nassoons’ signature arrangements blend timeless five-part harmony with contemporary flair. As ambassadors of Princeton’s a capella singing tradition, they are honored to bring their classic, collegiate sound to the San Francisco Bay Area.
