San Francisco's Home for Great Concerts since 1970

The San Francisco Chamber Jazz Quartet

The SFCJQ has, since its 2002 founding, generated sheaves of critical raves for “Effortlessly and beautifully blending the realms of jazz and classical” (All Music Guide) and offering “an eclectic repertoire that delights no matter which side of the jazz/classical dichotomy you occupy” (All About Jazz). Led by local legend Gini “The Duchess” Wilson, the group presents a musical celebration of their eponymous new CD, SFCJQ, with a showcase of new works and aficionado-pleasing favorites in a lyrical, richly varied program of the kind that has put the Quartet, and chamberjazz, on the musical map.

Old First Concerts has volunteer opportunities available!

Our concerts rely on the generosity of volunteers to assist with simple tasks like:

ushering

distributing programs

box office

set-up and clean-up

Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.

An excellent opportunity for students, seniors, or anyone who possesses a love for music!

If you’d like to consider volunteering with Old First Concerts, please contact curtishuth@oldfirstconcerts.org for more information.
