William Wellborn presents a program of works in honor of Liszts bicentennial, including his Sonata in B minor. A specialist in the music of Liszt, in 2004 he had the honor of presenting an all-Liszt program on Liszts piano at Hofgärtnerei Museum in Weimar, and in 2009 he presented a Haydn program at the composers birthplace in Rohrau, Austria. Since 1999 he has directed European musical tours exploring the lives and music of great composers, and the 2011 tour celebrates the bicentennial of Liszt with travels through France, Switzerland, Austria, and Hungary. www.williamwellborn.com
