7th SFIPF – Schumann & Sherlock Jr. – Friday, August 30 at 8 pm

The Festival is thrilled to present the return of Stephen Prutsman and the Telegraph Quartet in quartets of contrasting brilliance—Robert Schumann’s Op. 44 quintet and Prutsman’s original, dazzling score to Buster Keaton’s 1924 classic Sherlock Jr., which matches the genius of the film at every step.

Presented in collaboration with Lieder Alive!, and featuring mezzo-soprano Kindra Scharich, the Festival Finale comes full circle with a special program of musical cycles that mirror those in nature, joining the glory of the voice with the wonders of the piano.

set-up and clean-up

Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.

An excellent opportunity for students, seniors, or anyone who possesses a love for music!
