With an emphasis on exciting and unexpected grooves, adventurous improvisations and rich soundscapes, StringQuake is impossible to genre-fy, with stylistic influences including traditional classical chamber music, jazz, Latin, classical Indian, West African folk and Balkan music.

Scary Concert! – Sunday, October 28 at 4 pm

Inara Morgenstern & Victoria Neve, piano with special guest vocalist Ariela Morgenstern present a special Hallowe’en extravaganza, featuring George Crumb’s Eine Kleine Mitternachtmusik along with a seasonal mix of scary pieces for four hands by Gounod, Reineke, Dukas, Schumann, Alfredo Casella, and Toby Twining—with a little extra eeriness from a toy piano!

Our concerts rely on the generosity of volunteers to assist with simple tasks like:

ushering

distributing programs

box office

set-up and clean-up

Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.

An excellent opportunity for students, seniors, or anyone who possesses a love for music!
