Ben Brussell’s KLEZMANIA! – Old First Concerts

Celebrate the Holidays and Chanukah with Northern California’s premiere klezmer jazz ensemble, Ben Brussell’s KLEZMANIA!, a contemporary representation of klezmer music. Founded in May 1989 in San Francisco by Ben Brussell, KLEZMANIA! began to professionally perform klezmer music throughout the Bay Area and Los Angeles. As the group evolved, Brussellbrought in players from a variety of backgrounds and expanded the repertoire to encompass the klezmer musical experienceâ€”and beyond. Their program will comprise, some traditional sing-a-long Chanukah songs, klezmer, Yiddish folk songs, some Israeli, and some original klezmer songs, as well. Wild, fun, and very high-energy.

set-up and clean-up

Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.

An excellent opportunity for students, seniors, or anyone who possesses a love for music!
