This program is laced throughout with tidbits of vital information regarding the trees from which musical instruments are made and includes the Western Hemisphere Premiere of Tree of Tanzania. Originally composed and performed on Mount Kilimanjaro with Tanzanian musicians playing traditional instruments, this re-creation and performance is made possible by a Subito grant from American Composers Forum and with support from Buffet Crampon, USA. “… a joyful repertoire of unparalleled range and diversity”. “Every note they play is a work of art”. www.brendaschumanpost.com/sonicforest.htm
