Eos Ensemble

Introduction and Allegro and String Quartet in F major by Ravel; Danses sacrée et profane for harp and string quartet by Debussy; Trio for Flute, Viola and ‘Cello, Op. 40 by Albert RousselThe Eos Ensemble presents an all-French program combining the sounds of harp, flute, clarinet and strings. Experience the exoticism of Ravels Introduction and Allegro as well as his early String Quartet, Debussys Danse Sacre et Profane and the rarely heard Serenade of Albert Roussel. Founded by violinist Craig Reiss, The Eos Ensemble is an exciting chamber music group comprised mainly of members of the San Francisco Opera orchestra. Audiences throughout the Bay Area have been thrilled to enjoy the artistry normally reserved for the grand canvas of opera transformed to the intimacy of chamber music. Join us for an exciting evening of music “played with genuine depth and power.” (SF Classical Voice)
