Founded in 1991, the GGF was the first international children’s choral festival in the western US. The Festival promotes international understanding through music, and musical excellence in choral singing, through competition and performance. Since its founding, the event has brought more than 3,000 young musicians from 19 countries together in friendship and harmony, performing for more than 50,000 audience members drawn from throughout northern California.
