Three of the Bay Area’s favorite instrumentalists join forces to present a program of duos and trios for cello, clarinet, and piano. Cellist Hannah Addario-Berry has been delighting music lovers around the world for over a decade. Specializing in chamber music and solo repertoire, Hannah is passionately committed to performing music by living composers. Jeff Anderle is a pioneer in the world of low reeds, helping to popularize the role of the modern clarinet and bass clarinet through his innovative and diverse performances, ensembles, and commissions. Hailed as a “brilliant pianist” and “powerful player,” Kate Campbell performs frequently as a soloist and chamber musician specializing in contemporary music and interdisciplinary projects.
These three artists bring their combined talents to Old First Concerts with a diverse program including works by Bay Area composers Belinda Reynolds and Ryan Rey, and the world premiere of Kaolin for bass clarinet and piano by Ryan Brown.
