Ivan Ilic

Dazzling, brilliant, charismatic, unforgettable, thrilling: these are just some of the accolades the media have used to describe pianist Ivan Ilić. Of Serbian origin and brought up in the Bay Area, Ivan Ilić now makes his home in Paris, where he earned a Premier Prix at the Conservatoire Supérieur. In both live performance and recordings, he continues to uphold his reputation as an ‘adventurous pianist’ who ‘likes his music on the brainy side.’ (The New Yorker) Join him for a program mixing Debussy Préludes from his début CD with new works written for him by Keeril Makan (Rome Prize 2008, Assistant Professor at MIT) and Dmitri Tymoczko (Guggenheim Fellowship 2007, Associate Professor at Princeton).

Old First Concerts has volunteer opportunities available!

Our concerts rely on the generosity of volunteers to assist with simple tasks like:

ushering

distributing programs

box office

set-up and clean-up

Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.

An excellent opportunity for students, seniors, or anyone who possesses a love for music!

If you’d like to consider volunteering with Old First Concerts, please contact curtishuth@oldfirstconcerts.org for more information.
