Hu Deng Tiao A Joyful Night and Three Refrains on the Song of Yangguan PassEric Myers Standing at the Gate World PremiereJoan Huang Along the River During the Qing Ming FestivalMelody of China will present a concert celebrating contemporary works for Chinese chamber ensemble. The program will feature a special performance of the recently commissioned Joan Huang work Along the River During the Qingming Festival featuring Melody of China with guests Earplay ensemble. Also featured will be a world premiere for Chinese sextet by young composer Eric Myers. The program will include several works by 20th Century Chinese composers celebrating China’s rich cultural legacy.
