Founded in March 2022 by pianist Ihang Lin, Ensemble Les Six is a chamber music group with 10 professional musicians and faculties currently working at San Francisco Opera Guild, San Francisco Symphony, San Jose State University, Santa Clara University, Stanford University, Kutztown University and San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Dedicated to promoting chamber music and presenting female composers’ works, Ensemble Les Six presents concerts regularly throughout the Bay Area each year.

This evening concert will be presented by violinist Dr. Catalina Barraza, cellist Dr. Katie Youn, and pianist Dr. Ihang Lin. From Handel-Halvorsen’s crowd-pleasing Passacaglia, Chopin’s virtuoso Études to Jessie Montgomery’s contemporary work, the audience will be mesmerized by the diversity of styles and musical periods.
