Fundraiser for Live Streaming Concerts

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Old First Concerts continues to innovate and find new ways to bring musicians and audiences together. Our plan to re-open our series includes several stages:
1. Concerts are live streamed from a remote location.
2. Concerts are live streamed from our venue at 1751 Sacramento Street with no audience.
3. Limited audience attendance is allowed with live streaming continuing for those who can’t attend or don’t feel comfortable attending yet.
4. Full audience attendance is allowed with live streaming for those who can’t attend and archival purposes.

Live streaming is a critical part of our re-opening plan, but we need to make several improvements to our infrastructure to maintain the high quality you have come to expect from our video and audio productions. Therefore, we are dedicating our annual early-Summer fundraising drive to these efforts.

Our goal for this fundraiser is $5000!

We know that this is a challenging time financially for our audience members and artists – we anticipate about a 2/3 reduction in our admissions income for 2020. Live Streaming makes it possible for the music to continue and allows us to offer a vital lifeline to our artists who have been shut out from performing at San Francisco venues for the past four months.
