Piedmont East Bay Children’s Choirs

The newly renamed Piedmont East Bay Childrens Choir presents their annual candlelight concert. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Robert Geary, the organization has collaborated with major Bay Area performing arts organizations such as the San Francisco and Oakland East Bay symphonies, has been featured on many of the Bay Areas most prestigious concert series, and has performed with artists as diverse as the Kronos Quartet, the Mark Morris Dance Group, and the folk rock group, Barenaked Ladies. The most advanced groups perform holiday favorites with panache and finesse, as well as the World Premiere of Ave Maria by Mark Winges, the American Premiere of Yoram Tehar-Lev (Seasons)by Dov Carmel, arrangements of Candlelight Carol and Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day by John Rutter, and Jaakobin pojat by Pekka Kostiainen.

Old First Concerts has volunteer opportunities available!

Our concerts rely on the generosity of volunteers to assist with simple tasks like:

ushering

distributing programs

box office

set-up and clean-up

Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.

An excellent opportunity for students, seniors, or anyone who possesses a love for music!

If you’d like to consider volunteering with Old First Concerts, please contact curtishuth@oldfirstconcerts.org for more information.
