QL Latin American Chamber Music Festival – October 19, 2013

A VIP Reception, featuring food and drinks with the artists of the festival.By creating a new “performance paradigm,” the Festival also wants to make chamber music, often seen as the purview of a select audience, accessible to new audiences of all ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds. “Our events will differ in structure from a typical classical recital: they will be approachable and conversational, combining the focused listening of a formal concert with the atmosphere of a community event,” said Castellano. Ethnomusicologist Dr. Ana R. Alonso-Minutti (Assistant Professor, University of New Mexico) will facilitate discussion amongst performers, composers, and audience members, allowing all present to explore together the various facets of just what “Latin American Chamber Music” can mean.Special ticket prices:Attend any 1 event for $12Attend any 2 events for $20Attend any 3 events for $28Attend any 4 events for $35Special rate for students: $5 for any single eventTo purchase tickets for multiple events with the above discounts, please select your desired number of events here.
