San Francisco ‘Cello Quartet – Old First Concerts

Chaconne by Bach; Girl With the Flaxen Hair by Debussy; A Night in Tunesia by Dizzy Gillespie; the West Coast Premiere of Stretched on the Beauty by Andrew Waggoner, and other works.The San Francisco â€˜Cello Quartet is a dynamic new ensemble that is composed of four â€˜cellists whose common goal is to promote, explore and celebrate the amazing range and resonance of four â€˜cellos. Their program includes transcriptions ranging from Bach to the Beatles and classic jazz, as well as exciting West Coast premieres of works written expressly for â€˜cello quartet. Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.
