San Francisco's Home for Great Concerts since 1970

San Francisco Composers Chamber Orchestra with special guests Schola Cantorum

Augmented by the considerable vocal talents of the Schola Cantorum of San Francisco under the direction of John Renke, the SFCCO celebrates its Season Finale with a presentation of new and original works for chorus and orchestra by Mark Alburger, Alexis Alrich, John Beeman, Michael Cooke, Lisa Scola Prosek, Erling Wold and others. This powerful joint concert of Chorus and Orchestra, in part made possible by a Community Engagement Grant from the American Composers Forum and through Meet The Composer’s Creative Connections program, promises an exciting conclusion to the SFCCO’s fourth season.

Old First Concerts has volunteer opportunities available!

Our concerts rely on the generosity of volunteers to assist with simple tasks like:

ushering

distributing programs

box office

set-up and clean-up

Scheduling is flexible — you choose when to work! We especially need helping hands for our Friday and Saturday night performances.

An excellent opportunity for students, seniors, or anyone who possesses a love for music!
