San Francisco Guitar Quartet

Works by Philip Houghton, Georg Philipp Telemann, Andrew York, Bryan Johanson, Wayne Siegel, Luigi Boccherini, Patrick Francis and the World Premieres of “Bluezilian” by Clarice Assad and “Chasing Light” by Gary EiserThe musical backgrounds of its members range from flamenco training in the South Pacific to a Fulbright Scholarship to Stuttgart, Germany, to a 2005 debut at Carnegie Hall, and when combined in the San Francisco Guitar Quartet, the result is an energy, a virtuosity, and a repertoire unmatched for variety, depth and color.
