San Francisco's Home for Great Concerts since 1970

Sony Holland

“A decidedly modern jazz diva.”–San Francisco Chronicle”She’s going to be a smash…”–Don Bowen, KRML radioDrawn to San Francisco in 2003 by her love of, and the City’s tradition of, smooth jazz, Sony Holland rose from singing on Fisherman’s Wharf sidewalks to sold out houses and prolonged ovations at The Plush Room, Yoshi’s and Jazz At Pearl’s in one year’s time. Her original lyrics are evocative of Paris, New York, and this, her adopted home, and are delivered with a vibrant stage presence, effortless range, and an impeccable sense of swing, in a mesmerizing, sultry voice that the Chronicle likened to a blend of Barbara Streisand and Nancy Wilson.

Old First Concerts has volunteer opportunities available!

Our concerts rely on the generosity of volunteers to assist with simple tasks like:

ushering

box office

set-up and clean-up
