For over fifty years, Old First Concerts has been a bedrock of the San Francisco musical landscape, presenting high-quality concerts in historic Old First Church (renowned for its acoustics) and providing a platform for local and upcoming artists. 2025 Musical America Composer of the Year Jake Heggie, whose opera, Dead Man Walking, is being staged this month by the San Francisco Opera, recently wrote:

“Early in my career, Old First Concerts was a creative home base for me. . . . Old First was the site for the world premieres of several big song cycles of mine. . . It will always have a special place in my heart – for every memory of Old First Concerts absolutely glows with the richness of great music making, community and possibility.”

This is your chance to join our community by sponsoring Old First Concerts’ upcoming November 1 Marathon Gala. The Gala, featuring over two dozen mostly local musicians, will raise money to replace a recent loss of public and foundation funding critical to supporting the series.

The levels of sponsorship are:

• Friends of Old First ($50-$99)
• Enthusiastic Applause ($100-$249)
• Standing Ovation ($250-$499)
• Encore Performer ($500-$999)
• Bravissimo ($1000-$4999)
• Virtuoso Circle ($5000 and up)

All sponsorships over $50 will appear on the program. Smaller donations will be accepted at the door on the day of the performance, which will be free admission.
