Stepping Out with SOTA
Featuring students from the Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts

The Ruth Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts piano and orchestra & band departments present a concert of music for solo & duo piano, chamber music, and jazz ensemble, under the direction of Ava Soifer, Tristan Arnold, & Henry Hung. Students will perform a riveting program featuring selections from Dvořák’s Piano Quintet Op. 81 and Tedesco’s Fantasy Op. 145 for guitar & piano, along with piano trios by Clara Schumann, Milhaud, Haydn & Von Weber. Asawa SOTA is a public high school offering free quality arts and academic education since 1982. Students from the music departments have matriculated to conservatories and music programs across the country, including Julliard, Oberlin, New England Conservatory, Curtis, USC, Berklee College of Music, UCLA, and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
